How to Acheive Kissable Soft Skin!

Smooth, Kissable Skin.😎

We all want skin on our body that is smooth, soft and kissable soft. Admit it, we LOVE when our bae holds us tight and says " Your skin is so soft!" So what's the best way to work towards that baby bottom softness? Read on for some tips.

Shave Properly or Wax.

Discard any dull razors, never shave without shaving cream if you do use a razor. Use a shave cream that contains moisture if you need to use a razor. Waxing will help the hairs come back finer over time and give a smoother feel, but we understand waxing isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Hydration is your friend.

Moisturizing is not optional. Take time out to use hydration on your skin. In the colder Months, you'll want  thicker product like a thick lotion or body butter to replace lost moisture due to the cold. Look for ingredients like Shear Butter, Kokum Butter, Coconut Oil, Jojoba oil which really help the skin replenish and repair.

In Summer Months, you can opt for a thin lotion or our fave, a nice body oil. Body oils are like liquid gold, especially in the warmer Months when you need a little shine and room to breathe.

Exfoliate Once-Twice a week.

Exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells, ingrown hairs, and exposes new fresh skin underneath. Its healthy and over time will improve the appearance of your skin. You'll notice a difference right away, but two to three Months out you'll really tell.  It's important to not exfoliate and shave the same day which can lead to more irritation and inflammation.

OTC containing salicylic acid or glycolic acid can help.

If you have stubborn discoloration, ingrown hair or imperfection, salicylic acid or glycolic acid can improve the color and appearance of your texture, coloration and feel.

While some skin conditions are genetic like psoriasis or eczema, others like " Strawberry legs ", a generic term for small imperfections on the skin caused by ingrown hairs, bacteria and other causes can be corrected with a simple change in routine.  Regardless, consistency is key to softer more manageable skin.

As always, if you think its warranted, visit a dermatologist for recommendations beyond simple fixes.
